I did not know whether to laugh or let out a sigh of relief when David Cameron let it be known he did not want Gordon Brown taking over at the World Bank.

It is a £270,000 a year job– nice money if you are an out of work Prime Minister, but something of a huge irony. All of this while Blair swans around the world making speeches for millions and apparently being a ‘Middle East peace envoy.’ Have you noticed how it has all kicked off in the region since he has had the job – a coincidence I am sure!
