It would be fair to say the industry has been very successful at creating products that are good at accumulating wealth for clients.

The past 25-30 years could even be categorised as the age of accumulation, at least as far as the financial services industry is concerned. Recently, Aberdeen announced the New Thai Dawn investment trust it has managed for nearly two decades has created ISA millionaires. Sadly, I am not one of them. The accumulation of this kind of wealth is a result of patience - by the investor and the New Dawn investment team.
