UK and Switzerland eye post-Brexit fund co-operation 'opportunities'

The UK and Switzerland are exploring ways for the countries' funds industries to work in closer co-operation after the UK leaves the EU in March 2019, in efforts to remove regulatory and market access obstacles between the two countries.

In a meeting taking place at Zurich Asset Management's headquarters this afternoon (5 November), 40 attendees including senior asset management figures and representatives from HM Treasury and the international trade will discuss the likes of post-Brexit fund distribution between the two nations as well as regulatory co-operation.
