Guernsey Green Finance is headline sponsor of the Investment Week Sustainable & ESG Investment Awards 2019.

Guernsey Green Finance is the body through which Guernsey delivers on its strategic commitment to sustainable finance. In 2018, Guernsey introduced the world-leading Guernsey Green Fund, the world's first regulated green fund product offering investors assurance on the green credentials of their investment.

Investment Week's Sustainable & ESG Investment Awards showcase expertise and commitment to investment factors that take into account environmental, social and ethical criteria as well as good corporate behaviour - factors that are increasingly in demand by investors and a growing sector of the investment industry.

The awards are aimed at fund managers and organisations who are at the forefront of facilitating or investing in themes involving the environment, ethics, as well as social and corporate responsibility, and whose work promotes a greater understanding into the sector's potential.

Dr Andy Sloan, chair of Guernsey Green Finance, said: "We fully support the aims and ambitions of Investment Week's Sustainable & ESG Investment Awards and are proud to be aligned with the event. Guernsey has big ambitions in this area - we are members of the United Nations' Financial Centres for Sustainability network and have agreed to work with the London Green Finance Institute on projects - and we are pleased to see the levels of entries and support for the awards."

The awards ceremony takes place at London's The May Fair Hotel on Friday 22 November.
