Davy Asset Management is launching a founders share class priced at 25bps on its Discovery Equity fund to encourage new flows.
The share class, which will be available from Wednesday 25 October, will be 25bps instead of the usual 75bps.
Managed by Chantal Brennan and Jeremy Humphries, the global mid- and small-cap fund was launched in April 2013 but has only reached £15m in size.
The fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of small- and medium-sized companies which demonstrate growth potential coupled with quality characteristics.
Doug Gordon (pictured), head of European distribution at Davy AM, said: "We aim to keep the share class open until we reach £150m or for 12 months.
"Once the goals have been reached, the share class will be closed and all new investors will revert back to the 75bps."
The fund has returned 13.4% this year versus 6.5% by the MSCI World index, according to Morningstar. Over five years annualised, it has returned 16.3%.
