Ravenscroft launches two funds into UK market; Lansdown appointed chairman

Ravenscroft, the investment management firm backed by Hargreaves Lansdown co-founder Stephen Lansdown, has launched two funds into the UK market co-managed by Mark Harries.

The IFSL Ravenscroft Huntress Balanced fund, co-managed by Mark Bousfield and Harries, and the IFSL Ravenscroft Huntress Global Blue Chip fund, co-managed by Ben Byrom and Harries, will mirror two offshore mandates, the Balanced and Global Blue Chip funds, which are listed in the Channel Islands. Harries is head of investment management, part of a 16-strong team, after joining Ravenscroft last year. He was previously head of manager selection at Aberdeen.
