Update: S&W launches artificial intelligence fund for former Pictet managers

Incorporates AI into investment process

Smith & Williamson (S&W) has launched an actively managed global thematic fund, focused on companies in the artificial intelligence (AI) space, and is offering all investors access to institutional share classes for an offer period.

The global equity fund is the first for London-based managers Chris Ford and Tim Day who joined in 2015 from Pictet, where they co-led the firm's global equities activities. To mark the launch, the firm is making the annual management charge (AMC) of 0.50% for institutional share classes available to all investors for an initial three months, waiving the usual minimum investment for these classes during the period.
