Tcam plans to launch Japan-focused value fund

Tcam is planning the addition of a Japan value fund to its range, following the launch of its Strategic Value fund last year.

Strategic Value, which invests in UK shares, was the first direct equity fund for the firm, which had previously only run multi-manager strategies. Since inception on 3 November 2016, the fund has returned 18.9% versus 9.8% by the FTSE All-Share over the same period.  It has also beaten the IA UK All Companies sector which returned 10.9% and the MSCI UK Value index on 8.4%, while attracting £31m in AUM.
