Sanlam grows wealth assets to £1bn with IFA acquisition

Sanlam Wealth Planning, the restricted advice arm of Sanlam UK, has acquired financial planning firm FA Watts Investment Managers.

The acquisition brings with it over £150m funds under advice, increasing those held by Sanlam Wealth Planning to more than £1bn. It will see three of the firm's advisers and three back-office staff join Sanlam Wealth Planning. They will continue to work from the Fareham office to ensure continuity for clients and expand Sanlam's presence in the South of England.
