7IM expands range with launch of 'smart passive' equity funds

Seven Investment Management (7IM) has launched a range of passive equity value funds.

The single sector 'smart passive' funds will be available as a part of portfolio planning for private clients and institutions and aim to outpeform the index by 1%-2% at a lower cost than active funds. The first three funds, 7IM European (ex UK) Equity Value fund, 7IM UK Equity Value fund and 7IM US Equity Value fund, were launched last week, while the 7IM Emerging Markets Equity Value fund will be launched this summer.
