Ex-Ignis UK equities head Ashby joins Santander

Graham Ashby former head of UK equities at Ignis Asset Management, has replaced Richard Moore as manager of two equity funds at Santander Asset Management.

Ashby (pictured) joins with immediate effect as a senior manager on the £900m Santander UK Growth and the £30m Santander N&P UK Growth funds. The current manager of the funds, Richard Moore, is leaving Santander to pursue other interests. The Santander UK Growth fund has returned 24% over three years to 30 January, according to Morningstar, versus a sector average of 46%.
