JPMAM's Farquhar joins Square Mile to head business development

J.P Morgan Asset Management Jamie Farquhar has joined Square Mile Investment Consulting and Research as director of business development.

Farquhar, who has been head of strategic partnerships since March 2011 at JPMAM, has 25 years of industry experience. That includes roles such as head of investment propositions at Aviva Wrap and head of investments at Bankhall Investment Associates. Square Mile was set up in September 2013 by former Morningstar OBSR colleagues Nigel Whittingham and Richard Romer-Lee. However, Whittingham left the firm a year later to return to his home in South Africa.  Romer-Lee (pictured), managing director of Square Mile, said: "Working alongside Mark James, head of client relationships, Farquh...
