Former Schroders UK equity star Jim Cox passes away

Jim Cox, the former head of UK equities at Schroders who mentored many UK equity managers over the last 30 years, has died.

Cox, who was in his early 60s, passed away on 21 November. He was described last week by former colleague Andy Brough, manager of the Schroder UK Mid-Cap, as a “legend”. Schroders commented: “Jim was an exceptionally good fund manager and a charming, warm man. Our thoughts are with his family at this time."
