Cornelian Asset Managers has slashed holdings by over half on the British Opportunities fund it took from First State last year. Managers Marcus Brooks and Stephen Hunter have cut the vehicle from around 80 stocks to 37, although this is unlikely to go much lower. Of the current holdings, only 15 were in the portfolio they inherited, with Cornelian balancing out the fund and reducing the micro-cap element.
