Three unexpected sectors where AI is coming to the fore

Lead manager of the Smith & Williamson Artificial Intelligence (AI) fund Chris Ford has identified three "unexpected sectors" where investors could benefit from the impact of AI.

The AI fund, which Ford (pictured, right) manages alongside Tim Day (pictured, left), has just completed its maiden year, in which time it has returned 35.8% and raised £103m in assets, according to FE. How AI is shaping the wealth management industry Over the same period the MSCI AC World index has risen 10.4%, while the NASDAQ Composite is up 22.4% as of 29 June, according to Morningstar.
