Invesco Perpetual head of investment Neil Woodford believes it is only a matter of time before investors reward dependable equities.
Writing in the Financial Times, Woodford says the economic outlook is fraught with uncertainty and it is "inexplicable" the stock market is not embracing some of the UK's strongest stocks. The phrase "nifty fifty" conjures mixed emotions in those able to remember that particular episode in investment history.
