Jihong Min to be named T.Rowe Price Asian opps strategy PM

Will take over from Eric Moffett in April 2022

T.Rowe Price has promoted Jihong Min to co-portfolio manager of the firm’s Asian Opportunities Equity strategy, with the former analyst taking on full portfolio manager responsibilities in April next year after the fund’s current manager Eric Moffett takes control of the firm’s broader emerging markets equity strategy.

Moffett and Malik Sarmad Asif were appointed co-portfolio managers on the emerging markets strategy in April alongside Gonzalo Pángaro. Moffett will take over as lead portfolio manager on the strategy at the beginning of 2022, upon the retirement of Pángaro. Loefstrand and Oyegunle to take on T. Rowe Price Frontier and MEA funds as Bell promoted T.Rowe Price said that "over the lengthy transitional period", Singapore-based Min and Moffett will work collaboratively on investment decisions and idea generation, as well as day-to-day portfolio management.
