FCA's Megan Butler announced as keynote speaker for Women in Investment Festival

Incisive Media – Investment Week's parent company - is delighted to reveal that the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) Megan Butler will be keynote speaker at its first Women in Investment festival on 3 March this year.

Butler, who joined the FCA in 2015, will host a session entitled 'Breaking the glass ceiling: An economic case for gender diversity'.  The session will explore the fact that, while women are underrepresented across all levels of the global financial system, this is most prominent at a boardroom level, where women account for less than 2% of financial institutions' chief executive officers (CEOs).  Butler will discuss overly narrow criteria for advancement, outdated leadership models, inflexible working practices and bias in talent management as more than issues that need to be resolve...
