Laird leaves Lyxor to 'change the asset management industry'

Lyxor Asset Management's head of ETF platform distribution Adam Laird has left after three years with the firm to start a new business with the intention to "change the asset management industry".

Laird, who is also stepping down as chair of the Investment Association's ETF committee "and other industry positions", will be starting a new, as-yet unknown business in 2020, according to a statement on Friday (15 November). He said: "For several months I have been incubating an idea to change the asset management industry. I will be starting a new business in 2020 to make this happen."
