Quilter Cheviot poaches Brewin Dolphin and Rathbones managers

Quilter Cheviot has hired Rathbones' Daniel Jolliffe and Murray Gillan from Brewin Dolphin as investment managers, adding to its expanding team.

Jolliffe and Gillan, who will work out of the firm's Jersey and Glasgow offices respectively, represent the 15th and 16th investment manager hires for Quilter Cheviot this year, bringing the investment team to 167 staff. Prior to 18 months at Rathbones as an investment manager, Jolliffe held roles at Barclays Wealth and Close Brothers Asset Management. He will be focussed on Quilter Cheviot's international business, working closely with its regional development team in Dubai.
