Capital Group launches World Growth and Income fund

US fund giant Capital Group has launched a UCITS equivalent of its World Growth and Income strategy for European and Asian investors, in the latest step in the firm's expansion plans.

The World Growth and Income strategy has a 26-year track record and is a core global equity strategy, which targets opportunities in changing market environments and aims to provide long-term growth of capital while delivering income. Capital Group said in February that as part of its push into the UK retail market it would be looking to launch at least one fund a year over the next three years.
