The obvious way to approach this question is to extrapolate current trends and developments.

But in the spirit of John Timpson of the shoe repair chain, who attempts to do the same for his business every year, I am going to try not to make the same mistake as some commentators. Timpson looks at where the country might be, and how his shoe repair business would fit in, simplifying his projection into a simple sentence. So adopting the same theory, for what it's worth: where will asset management and wealth management/financial advice be in 15 years' time?
