It is often said the real money is made by investors when they buy at the bottom of a market or sector, or buy into an asset when it is not widely understood or available.

But where do they exist, ask many, because surely nothing is new? Well the other day I came across the Space Institute, which is an organisation dedicated to promoting the financial and economic benefits of guess what… space! It has credible statistics that show a basket of US companies which earn a significant amount of their revenues from space and its allied industries, has consistently outperformed the S&P 500 over the past two decades. If only I had known, I might have had a punt on an ETF based on that basket of shares. So where are the equivalent, less well known but credib...
