What the hell is ‘caring capitalism'? Apparently it is something to do with John Lewis and bankers' bonuses.

In reality, it is the latest piece of vacuous, meaningless clichéd drivel from the cohort of politicians leading us out of the debt crisis to the promised land of new growth. This nonsense has got right up my nose recently, because reality seems to be even further from the minds of politicians than normal. I am not just talking about the jokes in the UK – Dave, Cleggy and no-mark Miliband. You can also chuck in Obama with his empty State of the Nation speech, and the European version of the Krankies – Merkozy, otherwise known as Sarkozy and Merkel. We all know the problem – too muc...
