Baillie Gifford lowers fees on four more trusts

Baillie Gifford is reducing the annual management fee on four of its investment trusts from 1 January 2019.

Annual management fees for the £460m Edinburgh Worldwide Investment, £178m Pacific Horizon, £685m Baillie Gifford Japan and £505m Baillie Gifford Shin Nippon trusts will follow a tiered approach based on total assets from next year. The fees for the opening tier of assets in the range will be reduced from 0.95% to 0.75%. This means the first £50m of net assets will incur a charge of 0.75%; 0.65% for the next £200m of net assets  and 0.55% on assets beyond £250m.
