AllianzGI appoints Amundi's Carbonneil as head of investment trusts

Allianz Global Investors has hired Stephanie Carbonneil as head of investment trusts, following the departure of Melissa Gallagher in July, Investment Week can reveal.

In her new role, Carbonneil will focus on the continued growth and development of the company's investment trust business, which is currently responsible for three closed-ended funds. She will report to Adam Gent, head of retail and wholesale for UK and Northern Europe, and will be based in London. Carbonneil joins AllianzGI from Amundi, where she was head of distribution for UK, Ireland and Greece. Prior to that, she was investment trusts business development manager at Schroders.
