FE Invest could extend model portfolio service to advisers' sophisticated clients as AUM tops £1bn

FE Invest has said it is considering offering a more bespoke version of its risk-optimised model portfolio service for advisers' higher net worth clients, Investment Week can reveal.

The service, which was launched in March 2015, grew beyond £1bn in assets under management at the end of last year, which Rob Gleeson, head of FE research, said was the "turning point" to consider tailoring the offering for higher-net-worth clients. He said: "While FE Invest is not currently aimed at the sophisticated investor, it can be appreciated by all and provides a successful outcome at a lower cost. Some advisers may well look at our models and think ‘this could suit our clients with over £100k to invest too'. That is where we see the scope to raise the bar." FE Invest launches...
