M&G Investments has launched an ESG Global High Yield Bond fund, managed by James Tomlins and Stefan Isaacs.
The firm said it would go through three stages of criteria when considering a company for the fund. Companies in breach of the United Nations Global Compact principles are first excluded, followed by those deriving revenue from tobacco, alcohol, gambling, defence and weapons. Finally, companies are filtered by their environmental, social and governance (ESG) credentials according to MSCI.
