Investors Capital Trust changes name to F&C UK High Income

The £140m Investors Capital Trust has changed its name to F&C UK High Income Trust with immediate effect to better reflect its investment aims.

The name change provides better clarity on the company's investment aims, which are to provide an attractive return to shareholders in the form of dividends and/or capital repayments together with the opportunity for capital growth.  The company said in a statement, shareholders are unaffected by the change of name and existing share certificates should be retained and remain valid.
