Ex-Psigma's Gregory launches first fund

Former Psigma head of global equities Tim Gregory has launched his first global equity fund at new firm Vermeer Investment Management.

The firm was launched in June with Gregory (pictured) as chief investment officer alongside James Rowsell, former chief executive of Cantor Fitzgerald Europe, who is the group's CEO. They have now launched their first fund - a global equity strategy with a preference for growth companies - which will be managed by Gregory. The fund will be called the Vermeer Global ICAV. Vermeer had initially planned to launch the fund in the third quarter of the year but held off due to the uncertain political environment.
