Odey: Markets have already priced in 'Bremain' vote

Comes as sterling hits 2016 high against dollar

Crispin Odey has said markets are largely pricing in a 'remain' vote ahead of the results of the EU referendum, despite a private poll indicating strong support for the 'leave' campaign.

"Everyone felt the momentum had gone out of the Brexit camp on Friday, they have to reaffirm that a vote for 'remain' is not a vote for the status quo," the hedge fund veteran and Brexit-backer told the Evening Standard yesterday. "London is pretty 'remain' and the rest of the country is pretty 'leave'. It is lonely being a Brexiteer in London."
