Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EDRAM) has recruited Annelie Fearon from Cheyne Capital Management to join its convertible bond team.

Fearon has 17 years experience in financial markets, 13 of which were spent developing convertible bond strategies.

She joins Alina Epifantseva and Thibaut Bailly on the team, who all report to Laurent le Grin, head of the convertible bond department, based in London.

In total, the group runs €1.2bn in European convertibles and €700m in international convertibles.

The group, which hired Daniel Lee (pictured) from Allianz Global Investors as head of UK wholesale last year, has announced in the past few months it has registered for sale 20 funds in the UK, including the €900m Europe Convertibles fund and €310m Global Convertibles fund.
