Kames hires fixed income duo

Kames Capital has expanded its fixed income team with two manager appointments.

Juan Valenzuela joins as a fixed income manager from Alliance Trust where he was an investment manager on the Alliance Trust Dynamic Bond fund. Prior to this he was an investment director on the SWIP Absolute Return Bond fund. It has also hired Timothée Pubellier as a trainee fixed income manager, He joins from Paris-based hedge fund UBP where he worked as a portfolio manager. Valenzuela will work on the rates team, led by investment manager John McNeill, while Pubellier will join the financials fixed income team headed by Gregory Turnbull-Schwartz.
