Hargreaves appoints CFO successor for Taylor

Hargreaves Lansdown has hired Chris Hill as its new chief financial officer, ending the search for a replacement after Tracey Taylor left at the end of last year.

Taylor, who had worked for Hargreaves Lansdown for 15 years, announced her departure in December 2014 and left the firm in June this year. Since December, her role has been held by Deloitte partner Simon Cleveland as an interim replacement. The firm has now hired Chris Hill, who joins from his position as CFO at IG Group. He has previously worked at Travelex, General Electric and Arthur Andersen.
