Aviva Investors hires ex-Henderson man to head third party distribution

Aviva Investors has appointed Aria Capital Management's James Tothill as head of third party sales.

Tothill will have responsibility for relationships with third parties including fund platforms, research firms and intermediaries, reporting to head of UK wholesale Jeremy Leadsom. The appointment comes as Aviva Investors seeks to increase its third party assets under management under the leadership of CEO Euan Munro (pictured). Tothill had been at Aria since July last year, working as head of strategic partnerships for the absolute return-focused fund house.
