Ex-Aberdeen discretionary sales head joins Matthews Asia

Former Aberdeen UK discretionary sales head Neil Steedman has joined Matthews Asia head of UK business development.

Based in London and reporting to head of global business development Jonathan Schuman, Steedman will be responsible for business development in the UK and Europe. Prior to joining Matthews Asia, Steedman worked as head of UK discretionary sales at 10 years at Aberdeen Asset Management. His hire comes as the firm looks to expand both its local presence in Europe and its fund range.
