Ex-Friends Life CIO joins Munro at Aviva Investors

Aviva Investors has confirmed the hire of Mark Versey, former chief investment officer at Friends Life, as director of client solutions.

Versey, who will join the group's executive committee, will focus on developing and leading the company's investment solutions team. Chief executive Euan Munro (pictured), who joined from Standard Life Investments (SLI) last year, said Versey's appointment - first revealed last year - marked a further progression of his plans to develop a range of low-volatility investment solutions.
