Ted Scott retires from F&C after 30 years

F&C's Ted Scott has retired from F&C after a 30-year career at the firm.

Scott (pictured) was most recently director of global strategy at the group, having worked in a variety of roles during his time there. These include manager of F&C Stewardship and Stewardship Income funds and the F&C UK Growth and Income fund, prior to his stepping back from fund management in 2009. While not a direct replacement for Scott, Steven Bell, F&C's director of global macro, has taken on many of the strategist's responsibilities, according to a spokesperson for the group.
