Rathbones enjoys strong Q3 as flows accelerate again

Rathbone Brothers has seen a 15.6% increase in funds under management in the first three quarters of the year, with flows accelerating in Q3.

The particularly strong third quarter growth saw the investment management arm post underlying annualised net organic growth of 5.6%, with the annualised rate of net inflows up 7.8%. That pushed its FUM up to £19.1bn on the quarter. Rathbones' unit trust arm, meanwhile, saw net inflows of £91m and positive market movements of £86m on the quarter, pushing FUM up to £1.6bn. Overall, Rathbone Unit Trust Management has seen a 23.1% increase in funds under management in the past nine months, up from £1.3bn at the end of December to £1.6bn.
