Former Newton private client CIO joins Sarasin

Philip Collins has joined Sarasin & Partners to run multi-asset portfolios for the group.

Collins (pictured) has more than 25 years of investment industry experience as a fund manager and analyst, including 18 years at Newton Investment Management, where he was CIO of the private client and charities division. In that role he was responsible for the investment process and performance of approximately £9bn of client assets. He also established and was lead manager on the Newton Phoenix range of funds.
