Fidelity's Rossi: Dollar bear market is over

The dollar bear market witnessed over the past ten years is finally over, according to Fidelity's chief investment officer Dominic Rossi.

Speaking at an event in London on Wednesday, Rossi (pictured) said the fiscal situation in the US is "beginning to show signs of improvement". "The dollar is no longer falling. The fiscal position is improving relatively fast." The stabilisation of the US currency will put commodity prices under pressure and lay the basis for a re-rating of equities of the kind unseen for the last ten years, he said.
