UPDATE: GAME calls in administrators as shares deemed 'worthless'

Shares in video games retailer GAME Group have been suspended as the board said "there is no equity value left" in the firm and it intends to appoint administrators.

The company's board warned in the past week it was likely to call in administrators and shares were likely to become worthless. At around 11.30am the group released a statement to the Londond Stock Exchange announcing its intention to appoint adminstrators as it failed to reach a "realistic prospect for a solvent solution".
