Lyxor CEO exits to join AXA IM

AXA IM has hired Lyxor Asset Management CEO Laurent Seyer as its global head of investment solutions.

Replacing Thibaud de Vitry, who has left the company, Seyer will join AXA IM on 2 May to take up the role as well as a position on the company's management board. He will report to CEO Dominique Carrel-Billiard. Seyer had been head of Lyxor AM since 2006, having previously spent 18 years at Société Générale across its audit, corporate finance, equity derivatives and life insurance units. At AXA he will be responsible for developing solutions in the multi-asset and funds of hedge funds business.
