JOHCM soft-closes £750m income fund

JO Hambro Capital Management has soft-closed its UK Equity Income fund after it reached its £750m cap.

James Lowen, senior fund manager alongside Clive Beagles, says small- and mid-cap exposure has been key to performance and, therefore, keeping the fund at this size will retain investment flexibility. A £750m cap was planned at time of the launch in November 2004.
