Ruffer names new chairman

Ruffer's chief executive Jonathan Ruffer will take over as chairman of the investment boutique in March when Ian Hay Davison retires from the role.

CIO Henry Maxey will succeed Jonathan Ruffer as chief executive in 2012. Meanwhile, Sir David Clementi is set to join the group as deputy chairman. Clementi, currently chairman of King’s Cross Central, was deputy governor of the Bank of England between 1997 and 2002 and chairman of Prudential from 2002 until 2008.
