A month after taking over the Martin Currie UK Equity Income fund, former Morley manager Scott McKenzie has revamped the portfolio according to his own investment strategy. Having taken on the fund from former Aberdeen manager Ross Watson, who ran the product on an interim basis from March having inherited it from David Berry, McKenzie has trimmed back its holdings. In addition he has introduced a two-tiered strategy that focuses on superior dividend growth as well as high-yielding stocks.
