While many continue to fret over the slowdown in the UK economy in recent months, many argue too much has been made of this and foresee relatively good growth for 2006. Charles Deptford, manager of the Baring UK Growth and Equity Income funds believes the UK economy could see a growth of 1.5% to 2% during 2006 with the UK equity market facing a potential upside of as much as 10%.
