The FSA is proposing a single disclosure document to help advisers provide clients with clear information about services and costs. Its latest consultation paper follows the FSA's new regime for investment businesses, the Conduct of Business Sourcebook (COBS), which came into force last November. This introduced a principles-based approach to disclosure, giving flexibility as to how advisers provide information to consumers on their services and costs.
