King & Shaxson Asset Management, the company that emerged from the sale of Swiss Life Asset Management's UK assets in 2003, is to enter the retail fund market. The London-based group will launch four sub funds within an Oeic in the first quarter, with further offerings following later in the year. The funds will be marketed via intermediaries, paying standard levels of commission. King & Shaxson is a long-established City name, going back to the mid-nineteeth century.
