The listings regime for investment companies will be sim-plified into a single process by early next year, the FSA said last Friday. The regulator will abandon the two-tier regime it introduced last year for overseas investment companies. Currently, these are able to list under either minimum EU standards laid out in so-called Chapter 14 rules or the more stringent Chapter 15 regulations.
